Tom Cothron, LUTCF, FSCP, entered the business in 1979 and joined NAIFA in 1981. In 1986, he was appointed as an Agency Manager for Southern Farm Bureau and manages a multi-line agency in Ocala, FL. He has been named Agency Manager of the Year several times and has also been chosen to receive Florida Farm Bureau’s Team Player Award on multiple occasions.
Cothron served as a NAIFA local chapter President in Ocala, FL in 1995 and 2002, as NAIFA-Florida president in 2008-2009, and served on NAIFA’s national board of Trustees from 2011-2015. In 2007 he was asked to serve on the “NAIFA In The 21st Century” (NAIFA 21) strategic planning task force and after rotating off the national board in 2015 was asked to serve as a member of the “NAIFA 2020” strategic planning group. He was the 2011 recipient of NAIFA-Florida’s highest award as Advisor of the Year being named as the recipient of the “C.G. Snead/J.F. Bryan, III Memorial Award for Outstanding Service”. He has served as a LUTCF moderator and is a graduate of NAIFA’s Leadership In Life Institute.
Cothron serves as a NAIFA Key Contact for several state and federal lawmakers from Florida and his favorite activities include travel with his wife of 30 years, Susie, and any time spent with their 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

Toggle is a Labrador Retriever which has been specially trained to sniff for liquids used to ignite fires. Together, Greg and Toggle are called upon to investigate fires, to seek out where and how they are started and to locate any ignitable liquids that may have been used. Greg and Toggle were trained by Maine Specialty Dogs and certified by the State of Maine Criminal Justice Academy. Toggle is very friendly, very smart and loves what she does for the team.
Greg began his fire service in 1979, retiring from the State of Alabama as an Assistant Fire Chief and the United States Air Force as a Fire Chief. Since 2016 he has been employed by the City of Gulfport as the Deputy Fire Marshal managing a bureau of Fire Inspector/Investigators. In 2020, Greg began working as an analyst for NEFCO Fire Investigations on a part-time basis conducting fire investigations for insurance companies, providing reports and expert opinions upon request.
He has a passion for learning and is a graduate of Liberty University with an MA in Theology Studies and currently enrolled in the Public Administration Doctorate program. He has earned multiple undergraduate degrees from both Grantham University and the Community College of the Air Force in Fire Science and General Studies.
Greg is the current South Vice President of the Mississippi Fire Investigators Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Texas Fire Investigator’s Association. He is a Certified Fire & Explosive Investigator and a Certified Fire Investigation Instructor through NAFI (National Association of Fire Investigators) and a member of the IAAI (International Fire Investigator Association).
As an Arson K9 Detection team, Greg and K9 Toggle have been instrumental in the successful apprehension and prosecution of countless would-be arsonists and fraudsters.
Elizabeth Wynn is a partner with Kyle Wynn & Associates, PLLC. She has worked exclusively in elder law since the beginning of her legal career. She prides herself on providing her clients with the personalized attention, care, accuracy, and dedication expected of an Elder Law Attorney.
Elizabeth graduated from The University of Mississippi in 2004, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Business Management. She attended Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi, and received a Master of Business Administration degree. Elizabeth received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Mississippi College School of Law. While in law school, she received the American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Writing. She is a member of The Mississippi Bar and its Estates and Trusts Section. She practices in Mississippi and Tennessee.
While in law school, she completed an externship with the Federal Public Defender of the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and volunteered at the Mission First Legal Aid Office. She has worked with the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project and has served as a Guardian ad Litem to represent children's best interests in Mississippi. She is also a member of the Lions Club of Madison. Because of her proven commitment to her community and the legal profession, she was chosen among many qualified candidates to serve on the 2016 Mississippi Bar Leadership Forum.
Elizabeth has written numerous articles on estate planning topics, including a monthly column in Mississippi Christian Living. She also frequently presents seminars on estate planning, Nursing Home Medicaid Benefits, and other elder law topics to civic groups, churches, professional organizations, assisted living and nursing home facilities, and the general public.
In 2019, based on her experience in Medicaid planning, she was honored by the Mississippi Business Journal as a "Leader in Finance." Many of her peers recently chose her as one of Mississippi's Top Distinguished Women of 2023.
